Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Support on-time, on-budget project delivery and maintain strong client satisfaction
- Update project schedules and attend walkthroughs
- Coordinate material deliveries and assist with permitting
- Partner with Superintendent to implement and enforce site-specific safety plans
- Conduct jobsite safety inspections using Procore
- Support project closeout: punch list, warranties, O&M manuals, and final inspections
- Maintain submittal, RFI, change order, and contingency logs
- Coordinate contract drawing updates and lead assigned client meeting items
- Prepare and distribute weekly meeting minutes
- Assist with internal Monthly Operating Meetings
- Support monthly billing and follow up on payments
- Review scopes and assist in preparing subcontracts
- Quantify and price project changes; assist in generating change orders and scope sheets
- Review trade contractor payment applications
- Support proposal development and estimating by coordinating with subcontractors and organizing bid documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- 1-3 years of project management experience
- OSHA 10 certification
- Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
